This Privacy Policy explains how Level Up Math LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the MelodyMode mobile application (the "App"). It's written to reflect exactly what the App does today — if that changes, we'll update this page.
You can use the App without creating an account by choosing "Play as Guest." In this mode, we do not collect any personal information. Your settings and practice progress are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
If you choose to create an account (email and password), we collect and store:
We deliberately do not collect or sync: your device's precise location, contacts, photos, or any data beyond what's listed above. A display name you set is stored only on your device, not on our servers.
Unless you're a Premium subscriber, the App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect technical and device information (such as your device's advertising identifier) to select and measure ads, and this may include ads that are relevant to your interests. On iOS, we do not access your device's advertising identifier for cross-app tracking without your permission, consistent with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You can review Google's own practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Premium subscribers do not see ads, and AdMob is not active for Premium accounts.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and subscription-management data (such as whether a subscription is active, its renewal date, and its product identifier) is synced to us through our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, so the App knows to unlock Premium features and remove ads on your account.
We use the information above only to: operate your account and sync your progress across devices, unlock Premium features for active subscribers, and provide customer support if you contact us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy (Supabase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob), each of which processes data only as needed to provide their respective service to us.
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (profile, XP, scale progress, badges) at any time from within the App under Settings → Delete Account, or via our account deletion page if you no longer have the App installed. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect the data described above. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
